In 2008, BII was acquired by Maybank through its entirely owned subsidiary, Maybank Offshore Corporate Services (Labuan) Sdn. Bhd. (MOCS) and Sorak Financial Holding Pte. Ltd. (Sorak). Maybank Indonesia is currently one of the largest banks in Indonesia that connected to regional and international network of Maybank Group.
