JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Help Desk Support Executive you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
Responsibilities:
- Setup of workstations in corporate and remote locations, including configuration of hardware and software for use on internal network.
- Provide Tier 1 Level support and technical assistance for Office related IT equipment & peripherals.
- Receive and respond to phone and email requests for technical assistance.
- Assist with any additions, moves or changes in network cabling
- Troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software on a preventative as well as a corrective basis.
- Perform user account management, system monitoring, user education and other administrative tasks
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate database for all IT Assets, including hardware, contract management, software licensing and maintenance.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualifications:
- Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years prior Help Desk or Desktop support experience
- Conversant with IT trouble shooting, end user support and upgrading of IT infrastructure
- Hands on experience in a Windows based environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365
- MCSE or MCSA certification is a plus
